Website Terms of Use
The rules for using this site, in plain English.
These terms apply to your use of hrmonie.co.uk ("the site"). By using the site you agree to them. They cover the website only; the services HRmonie provides to clients are governed by a separate client agreement.
About us
The site is operated by Michelle Matthias, trading as HRmonie, based in Stoke-on-Trent. Contact: michelle@hrmonie.co.uk, 07711 881857.
Information on this site is not advice
The content on this site — including the employment law updates page, FAQs and any guides or downloads — is general information about HR and employment matters in the UK. It is not legal or HR advice for your situation and should not be relied on as such. Employment law changes frequently and the right course of action depends on your circumstances. If you need advice, please book a call or contact us so we can look at your specific situation.
We take care to keep the content accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that it is complete, current or error-free, and we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on it.
Using the site
You may browse the site and download or print content for your own business use. You may not:
- copy, republish or sell any content from the site without our written permission
- use the site in any way that is unlawful, or that damages or disrupts it
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its hosting or any connected systems
- use any content to pass off as your own or to compete with HRmonie
Intellectual property
All content on the site — text, the HRmonie name and logo, the strapline "In tune with your business needs", images and downloadable documents — belongs to HRmonie or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trade mark law. Any templates or guides we provide to clients may be used within the client's own business only.
Booking a call
"Book a call" uses Calendly, a third-party service with its own terms and privacy policy. Booking a call does not create a contract for services; any work we agree to do will be confirmed separately in writing.
Links to other sites
The site may link to other websites, including GOV.UK, Acas and the ICO. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.
Availability
We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site without notice.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit or loss of business arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on the site at the time you use it is the one that applies.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute relating to them or to the site.
